Aries Full Moon, Autumnal Equinox, and Planets a-Shiftin’: Spinning into Balance, Passion, Speaking Truth, and New Beginnings

This Aries full moon is arriving just after the Autumnal Equinox, amidst the crazy movements of all of these retrograde planets going direct. This is a time for imbalance turning to balance, for numbness and dissociation to turn into passion and motivation, for the mundane to turn into magic as we begin to turn into ourselves to prepare for hibernation and inner growth and integration.

Owning Yourself: New Moon Supermoon and Solar Eclipse in Leo with Perseid Meteor Shower

What a week! Holy cow… these energies have me roaring! Wait… that’s not the sound a cow makes. But still.

We started this week out with another planet gone retro. Uranus Retrograde began on Tuesday the 7th, so it’s not a wonder if you’ve been feeling like a home-body. I, myself, was bogged down in bed with a terrible cold… oh yea. I wasn’t going anywhere. Those planets were like, “Going back to work? Hahaha! NOT!” Just remember that retrograde planets are only inconvenient if you let them be an inconvenience. Really, they are an invitation to slow down and breathe… something that, yes, may very well feel like an “inconvenience” in our new-world, fast-paced, go-go-go society, but that is, in fact, a blessing…

Full Moon in Aries, October 2017

Ooooooofff people, it’s time to feel that fiiiirrreeee!

Last month when the moon was full in Pisces, we were feeling all the feels. This month with the moon in Aries, it’s time to act on those feels. And it’s not like last month’s feels were fluffs and rainbows. Much of what seemed to be happening in general society, in 1-1 conversations with people and clients, and even in my personal life was gloomy and fear-based.

With last month’s full moon and Neptune retrograde in the same placement, many questions came up surrounding boundaries: Which lines were others crossing that made us uncomfortable? Or, which lines were not even established that we realised needed to? Where was there disease in our relationships? After sitting with those feelings for the last four weeks and starting to establish a bit of passion around the subject, the water has come to boil, and it’s time for those boundaries to be set! ….

6 September 2017 Full Moon (Plus, Mercury goes direct and Neptune Retrograde)

The moon rose high in the sky in a burnt orange hue, last evening. Fall appears to be nearing. The mystery of the moon seems to grow somehow more mysterious at this time of the year. A glow came over my heart at the thought of brisk night walks through the woods, cool earth beneath my feet through the day, and a special permission from nature to turn within a little longer, and a little more often.

This month, the Harvest Moon appears full in the sign of Pisces, giving us the perfect floating current from summer into fall (fire into water), and the grace to sink into the emotions from whatever the fiery new moon and solar eclipse in Leo brought up for us. This full moon is the time to immerse ourselves in reflection and direction. It is time to flow.

My Total Solar Eclipse Experience, Part III

The sun was shining in through the tent when my alarm went off at 7am. Chris and I wanted to leave early because a) we weren't sure what the traffic was going to be like, b) Mercury Retrograde means extra time should be factored in, and c) we weren't entirely sure where we were going. Before we left, I went to thank the honeysuckle plant, and I saw that it had dropped many of its flowers through the night. I heard a voice say, "Thank you for seeing me. These are for you." And I collected the flowers with joy and thanks and put them in the jar in my car with the two flowers I had collected in GR, and the wood betony that a client had given me.

It was about 20 minutes into the trip that we stopped at a gas station "" to use the bathroom, pick up some extra water, and use their wifi to figure out where else on the eclipse line was closer and not going to be packed with 150,000 people like Hopkinsville was projected to accommodate (somehow). So while Chris filled up I found "Madisonville", which was almost an hour closer and it didn't seem that anyone was talking about. It looked good to both of us, so we were on our way through a gorgeous highway over hills and around bends through cornfields and towns…..

Sirius: Experiencing our Spiritual Sun through the Lion's Gate Portal, the Elements, and Twin Connections

The Lion's Gate Portal opened sometime between 21-26 July 2017. Its pique is on 8/8, and it closes right around the time that the sun moves into Virgo- the day after the Total Solar Eclipse, on 22 August. It is at this point in time that the Sirius star system- made of Sirius A and B (twin stars?)- is closest to the earth and positioned near the sun in a way that its rays are directly hitting our planet! This happens yearly in the month of August.

The Sirian star system is greatly looked upon as our "Spiritual Sun", with earth's sun being our "Physical Sun". Thus, when its rays hit us directly here on earth, it is a gateway for spiritual enlightenment. Sirius is a star system that is speculated to have planetary systems that are mostly water. Because of the combination of water from the planets and fire from the Sirius suns, it is said that Sirius is highly associated with thunderstorms around our planet…
